I prefer the GTK and Mac-like system of using shortcuts, it's more
intelligent and takes more work to design, so has to be designed well.
However, it is faster to use than navigating through submenus, and alt-o
is open on any system, where you might have a different name on the
primary menu.
And remember that some windowmanagers eat certain keypresses. Under olvwm,
it uuses mac style window shortcuts anyhow, so the GTK style is especially
suited to it.
