i'm using a p166 with WindowMaker (much faster than redhat's Fvwm95) and
it drags pretty far behind my mouse. i'd hate to see your box doing it :).
anyway, i noticed much of that slowness disappear when i was running
IceWM, which is by far the fastest window manager i've ever seen. it's
small, lightweight, and looks cool.
does anyone know how to remove window decorations (which might in turn fix
that slow dragging) on handle boxes? is it possible? there isn't any
compelling reason that handle boxes need to be decorated.
