combo box behavior

This seems to be a problem regarding the bahavior of the gtk combo box. It
does not support mouse dragging and "pops back up" as soon as the left mouse 
button is down.   If the combo box is modeled after the MS-Windows ones, it 
should stay down until the mouse button is released.

I am using gtk 1.0 on a Redhat Linux 5.0 system.
