Redrawing Tooltips

Hi,

Here's my problem. I have tooltips associated with progress bars. They
show up ok, but when the progress bar updates it draws over the tooltip,
and the tooltip dissapears. I have to move the pointer away and the back
over the progress bar to get the tool tip to redisplay. I was wondering
if there was a way to force the redraw of the tooltip or to prevent the
progress bar from drawing over the tooltip.
