problem with key_press_event

Hi, I have a composite widget similar to clist, width a window and
scrollbars. When I click on the scrollbars, I dont't recieve anymore the
key_press_event with the keys Return and Space till I press Tab.
No problem with the rest of the keyboard.
 I don't have callbacks to the child widgets.
 I'm comfused: am I loosing something? is this a bug?, was it corrected on
the latest versions?,
