Zooming

Hi,

I need to popup a window that is zoomed maximally, but it has to 
zoomed maximally according to the window managers idea of this.

So for example, the kde window manager leaves a bar at the bottom
when zooming.

Can I send a hint to the window manager so that it will popup my
window and zoom it maximally?
