GTK Patch Site

I've exchanged e-mail with Peter Mattis, and he doesn't have any problems
with a GTK patch site which contains a patched GTK distribution, so I will
be setting one up this weekend.

I am having trouble with one aspect of GTK -- autconf/automake. I would
appreciate someone helping me out with this. Right now I'm having having
problems with the "@LIBTOOL@" (macro?varible) not being expanded from
Makefile.in -> Makefile. I've been getting around this by hand-editing
the Makefile...

I haven't quite found a home for the site, but until I do I'm going to be
using the SSC site a42.com. Patches can be uploaded to ftp.a42.com
/pub/incoming. Please send me e-mail after uploading, and a description
of what the patch fixes so I can put that on the web site. I like the
format of www.linuxhq.com, so I'll do somthing similar. I'll put the
patches up for download in /pub/gtk. I know that there has been periodic
problems accessing this FTP site from some places in New York,
particularly Cornell and some other New York schools, so let me know if
you can't upload/download from a42.

I'll also go through the mailing list archives to dig out all the patches,
put in doing that this weekend I ran into some problems with uuencoded
patches. It looked like some HTML links somehow got inserted into the
uuencoded body. I'll have the get the origionals of those.
