Some more information...

The exact location of crash is the following statement in magazine_chain_pop_head() function in gslice.c

if (G_UNLIKELY (chunk))

{

/* allocating from freed list */

(*magazine_chunks)->data = "">

}

Title : Crash in g_slice_alloc()

Hello all,

I get a crash whenever I run the attached code. The crash occurs on the 9th iteration each time.

Is this memory corruption?  What could be wrong here?

Thanks and regards,

Parth Kanungo
