Pango, Cairo, pycairo: OpenType features not working

Hi,

I'm using Pango, Cairo and pycairo for generating a text document.
I have it working properly under MacOSX (10.8.2) but on Linux Debian, the script works and generates the .png or .pdf output file with the right font, but the OpenType features ('calt' in this concrete case) are not working.

Any idea of what could be happening?
