I've built pango several times but up to now, it's always been from
tarballs. Recently however, I decided to switch to git sources for
future work. I'm building with MSVC and everything's going fine, except
for building the various pango modules, which is puzzling me a bit.
Forgetting about 'basic-coretext' (which I assume is only relevant for
the Apple platform) we now seem to build 4 x pango modules, namely:-
arabic-lang
indic-lang
basic-win32
basic-fc
I'm puzzled because in earlier version of pango there were many more
modules, including khmer, hangul, thai, hebrew and a few others. What
happened to them? Are they no longer needed or have they been moved
into some other library?
John
