Clusters vs Runs

Hi all,

I have been using Pango for a while now.

I tend to get confused between the terminology.

Can you tell me what is the difference between a cluster and a run?

Here is what I know:

If there is a text with LTR-RTL combination in a single line,

I can say that, it has 2 runs.

What about clusters?

Another question.

If I am rendering normal English language text and there is a word break, then do we consider the remainder of the string appearing on the next line as a new run ??
