Hallo everybody I have a problem where the language property of a text tag is not applying in a textview. My attached program is setting a text tag to apply for a whole buffer with the language and foreground set. The colour applies correctly, but the language does not. I'm specifically setting DejaVu Serif Italic that has markedly different glyphs for the Cyrillic character in Russian and Macedonian. The last character in both textviews should be different when running this as python languages.py The Macedonian glyph is used (in both lines) when running the program with LANGUAGE=mk python languages.py A screenshot of the two runs are attached, along with the example program. Anything I'm doing wrong? Thank you for any help. Friedel
