Need help about ellipsizing text for tight label

Hi list,

I'm trying to tackle a bug on nautilus (Bug-Id:84390) and it's about
ellipesizing the long file name so it's does only 2 or 3 line wrap
then ellipsize the last line to fit the expected size. Maybe I'm using
it the wrong way but I've seen nothing that could do this in the
pango-layout object.
