Same as Devanagari, older form of the name.  See: Maurer, On the
name  Devanāgarī, Journal of the American Oriental Society 96
(1976): 101–104.

Works here (Debian testing) with the Gargi font.  Entered in
Yudit, copied into OpenOffice.
