libpangoxft

Hello,
I'm trying to run an app and it's complaining that libpangoxft-1.0.so.0
isn't installed. I have compiled and installed pango (1.2.1) as it was
required when installing gtk (2.2.1). Question is, what have I done
wrong, as libpangoxft isn't anywhere on my system?
