You should be able to do a manual 'make gdkmarshalers.h';
it's a known problem, but I haven't had time to look
at it and see what is going wrong yet:

(The patch in there isn't quite right.)

BTW - you can use Pango HEAD with GTK+-2.0.6 or 
the gtk-2-0 branch of CVS, as long as you don't need
the Xft-without-RENDER capability.
