fixing links with gtkdoc-fixxref

Hi 

I am trying to setup links in our documentation to point to the gtk+
documentation.

In the 'doc' subdir of our source package I invoke the command:
gtkdoc-fixxref --module=gladeui --module-dir=html
--html-dir=/usr/share/gtk-doc/html
--extra-dir=/usr/share/gtk-doc/html/glib
--extra-dir=/usr/share/gtk-doc/html/gtk

This does nothing though, and exits without any status or warning
messages. Am I doing something wrong? Someone please help.
