Yes, this was fixed with this commit

and is part of GLib 2.29.3 and later. This was also cherry-picked to
the glib-2-28 branch

 http://git.gnome.org/browse/glib/commit/?h=glib-2-28&id=fc80ec9d0c244d0db8625f67c2d3c39acaec3fd6

so it might be part of GLib 2.28.7 when (and if) that is released.
