If you do want to go into that much detail, there should be a
more complete definition of how that ... thing ... is constructed :-)
I'd just drop that kind of thing; I did study lattice theory and know
what a bounded join-semilattice is, but I doubt this information will
help anybody to use GVariant...
Isn't the hierarchy simply a tree?
