How do we avoid breaking API/ABI though?
One idea was to use a #define GTK_LABEL_NEW_SEMANTICS which renamed
GtkLabel and gtk_label_* to GtkNewLabel and gtk_new_label_* until GTK+
3.0, when we drop the old label mode.
