Except that gcc 2.95 is two/three years older...
how is the C99 support on win32 using anything that's not GCC?
Visual studio doesn't support C99. That is anything which
isn't shared with C++ (it does support // comments and
inline of course). It'd be nice to collect a list of C99
features which may be used in Gtk. inline is used and nobody
got hurt so far (on the other hand, inline change in gcc-4
demonstrates that it might be a good idea to stick to old
tested standard).
