gtk_status_icon

Hi list !

I'm presently coding an app under gtk, and I want to set an icon in the
systray with the gtk_status_icon function, problem, gtk_status_icon
library seems not being present in the gtk2.6.10 source package which
is the one I use..... how can i resolve that, and what package have i
to download ? 
Following the gtk doc API, this function is present on the v2.0.......
