Yeah. Sorry about that. I scribbled it on the back of an envelope and
then continued on with installing stuff. I was in a hurry.

It was a *fresh* installation on a new Windows 2003 server running
Citrix. I'm positive that there was no existing gtk stuff on there. I'm
using a binary installer, from:
http://members.lycos.co.uk/alexv6/

I realise that some people are not impressed with my use of the above
binary installer. I would like to use the installer at
http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html but I have a number of
outstanding issues that I can't work around at the moment. The 1st and
most important is that my Gtk2-Perl setup simply doesn't work with it. I
will set up a new VMWare installation and try installing everything from
scratch ASAP, but currently if I remove Alex's distribution and replace
it with the gimp-win one, it breaks everything Perl - even though I can
run other gtk apps. The 2nd issue is the theme switcher. When I've
mentioned this before ( on a number of occasions ), the consensus seems
to be that people running gtk on Windows should just 'deal with' the
default WIMP theme. This simply doesn't cut it for me. However the 1st
issue - not actually working with the Perl bindings - is of course
blocking me using it anyway.
