This looks to be in the same area as the problem I reported a couple
of times (I think, on the gtk-app-devel list), where my app would
crash whenever a window or menu containing a stock icon was accessed
(on Windows, using gtk 2.6.X, that is; the app runs OK on Linux with
gtk 2.4 or 2.6, and runs OK on Windows with gtk 2.4.14).
I did not manage to produce an intelligible diagnosis of the
problem, and ended up dropping back to gtk 2.4.14 for the Windows
version of my program. (I should say, my reports related to a gtk
2.6 setup that I cross-compiled myself; I haven't yet tried Tor's
win32 binaries.)
FWIW, my guess is that I'm doing something wrong with my gtk 2.6
installation on Windows. But on the other hand, gtk 2.6 on Windows
seems to be too fragile -- it seems to me that I should get an error
message rather than a crash if I have failed to set things up just
right. (I mean, I'm fairly knowledgeable about this stuff, and my
installation is not just totally borked in some obvious way.)
