So far, it looks like everything is possible to do keeping backward
compatibility, so no need to break it just yet. We should avoid
incompatible versions as much as possible, just the changes it's going
to induce to bindings and libraries development process in backward-
compatible scenario are enough of hassle, I don't even want to think
about repeating 1.2 -> 2.0 like transition in next few years :)
