I guess it would be interesting to hear how AT users get on with this in
MS Windows, since the proposed UI sounds pretty much the same as the one
Windows Explorer (and Moz/NS6+) uses in its address bar.  The Microsoft
design was certainly arrived at by usability testing (I've posted a link
about that before), but I don't know how/if it was ever 'accessibility
tested'...
