(i can elaborate on this if necessary)

I really hate crossposting, which is why my opinion did not get to the gkt
list. I have CC'ed the gtk list and hopefully the moderators will let
this message through. (Please make sure to CC me on the replies, as I am
not subscribed to the Gtk list).

priority text !== "text on right hand side"

The thread on the usability list I think was pretty clear about what
priority text is and how it should work. Priority text is about providing
a text label for a few of the more important toolbar buttons.

What buttons are important can only be decided on an application by
application basis and by a developer who understands their software and
also understands a little about usability.

The Egg Toolbar, Priority Text thread on the Usability mailing list:
http://mail.gnome.org/archives/usability/2003-July/msg00192.html

My post in that thread is quite verbose and detailed, no one seemed to
disagree http://mail.gnome.org/archives/usability/2003-July/msg00197.html

Sincerely.
