Oh yes it WORKS!..

Can I give you advice? Let no partial solutions in :-)  If it were not 
for this "bypass", I would be
writing benchmark at the moment, trying to figure out what is so slow in 
basic-win32.c,
pangowin32.c, etc. And now I just _happy_ :o)  Thanks!..
