First, let me say that I've updated the GStream proposal; changes
include:
* Discussion of GNet
* More examples of problems with GIOChannel
* Links to relevant work
* Rewritten second half, including a discussion of async I/O

Cool, it sounds then that we are of alike minds on this. The hard part
is going to be getting async I/O API right.
What do you think about importing libgstream into the Gnome CVS as a
place to prototype the API?
