Hi,

Two things to consider for a dock widget:

 - we would want to solve the "menu/toolbar bevel" problem - basically
   have the dock widget draw the bevels between these in a smart way 
   that avoids double bevels, or at least have the dock widget tell
   the menu/toolbar how to draw them

 - we would want to use it inside a GnomeApp-equivalent toplevel
   window, i.e. if we had GtkAppWindow, that would basically be a
   window that came with a dock preloaded in it.
