Well, sure, what I mean by "no new deprecations" is no adding 
stuff to GTK_DISABLE_DEPRECATED, not keeping it a secret that
it will be deprecated.

Certainly, we've added comments to various docs indicating that
that things wil be deprecated in a future release and FOO should
be used instead.
