1.3.7 release

I think we need to do a 1.3.7 now -- it's been a long time
1.3.6 with quite a few changes. It doesn't really make
sense to wait until we have every single remaining issue
nailed down ... a release at this point would help
a lot of people even it takes us a little while longer
to get a real API frozen release out.

So I'm planning to work on making a release tomorrow (Monday)
... please let me know if there is anything that needs
to get committed before we do that release. (Keeping 
in mind that we'll be doing another release soon enough.)
