alternative to gtk_font_selection_get_font()

gtk_font_selection_get_font() and gtk_font_selection_dialog_get_font()
are deprecated. What should be used instead? The fontname?
I notice that most functions that involve GdkFont are deprecated. Is
GdkFont used anywhere anymore?
