Umm, have you tried compiling it lately? Some fixes were necessary
because of Pango API changes.
And for me it produces a *huge* .bmp file that takes ages to load (in
the GIMP), but is blank... (Restricting the number of fonts to a
smaller number makes the produced .bmp file smaller, but still it is
blank.)
