I have verified now, that glib-1.3.6 works properly on cygwin. Currently I
don't have time to verify wheter CVS version works also, becuase I don't
have currently proper cygwin environment to run autogen.sh script.
Probably better will be to generate distribution package on any sort of
unix machine and than just unpack it and compile on windows machine with
cygwin ... I have quite bad experiences running autogen.sh on cygwin. The
prepackaged 1.3.6 sources compiled well and produced both static and DLL
libraries. During weekend I will test current CVS snapshot, when I will
find time to do so. When someone is interested, I can send compiled
libraries.

Maybe the problem which Jeff found have something to do with missing
pthread support on cygwin ... if so, try to run configure with option
--with-threads=none

Best regards,
Stevo.
