Hi,

The thing to do is open a bugzilla report (bugzilla.gnome.org) and
attach your test case program to that. The GTK team is pretty busy
with the GTK 2 release, but another bugfix release to 1.2.x is
expected eventually and at that time stuff in bugzilla will be
addressed.
