I did realize, after sending the e-mail that that was the reason for
the crashes of GNOMEified program. I OK, it's not that fun to recompile,
but to store the data somewhere else seems to me like huge an uggly
kludge... But I may be rwong on this point. How do you suppose me to store
the data? As a global associative glist?
