I think in 2015 I was concerned with that bug, and I asked here, no
response. So I had to apply the old fix mentioned in above link for my
Nim editor. Development of GtkSourceView is not very  active, so that
bug may still exist. And in case you have not noticed yet, the gtk-list 
has basically moved to discourse forum.
