about the future deprecation of style properties

Hi,

I have read that the usage of custom style properties in Css ( 
**gtk_widget_class_install_style_property ) will be deprecated.

In the roadmap I can see that it is in progress for Gtk 3.20. What will 
be the alternatives for the users?
