GTK-Directfb and RCU

Hi all,
I'm newbie in GTK so please forgive my stupidity.
I'm trying to write a GTK+-directfb application
for set-top-box, so it's mandatory that
the application uses the RCU
as input device.
I tested my RCU at DirectFB level and it is working fine,
however at GTK level only the numeric keys (0 to 9)  are responding.
other keys  are considered as unkonwn.

is there any way to map the remaing RCU keys.
