Presumably it *could* and *should* be done (if that's what the same
application code does with a correctly functioning window manager on
X11), but there are plenty of bugs and misfeatures in GTK+ on Win32
related to transient-for relationships and similar issues. See for
instance the recent discussion in bug #112404.
But as you have joined the discussion in the new gtk-win32-list, so
you already know the above ;) So this message is basically just a FYI
for the rest of the gtk-app-devel-list.
