I agree. This would be much appreciated. The same goes for the popup
done by GtkEntryCompletion, which also has no configurable maximum
amount of rows. I guess patches that fix these issues would be gladly
accepted.
Not having such a limit is a conscious decision by GTK+ team. Not a
missed feature.
