CANNOT START CORBA <activate a panel object> for a panel applet

Hi,

we are  trying to develop a panel applet.

When we try to run the applet in Gnome, we get the following error:

** WARNING **: Cannot activate a panel object
** WARNING **: Cannot start CORBA

In a window the applet says: segmentation fault.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
