Themes With Patterns

Hello All,
Some of the GTK themes have patterns associated with them which appear
on the background of window, buttons etc (Example : Smokey blue theme
has blue colored horizontal lines).

Is there a way by which this background image / pixbuf can be obtained
using GTK APIs?
