----Which widget is focused

Dear all,

    I have a tabel holdig a group of buttons. the focus can move around
them when pressing the arrow keys.
I want to check the certain button widget is focused on.
    which fuction can do that?
   by the way I am using gtk+1.2 on the embeded system.
