keybord focus and selection

hi people out there !
i still need help ^^, ô poor me !
i'm working on treeviews with liststores
in my list when i move the keybord focus with the keybord arrows it selects 
the iter where the focus is
but when i programmatically select an iter, the keybord focus doesnt come 
with...
is there a way to set the keybord focus on the selected iter ?
