gtk+-2.0 make errors!

Hi all, i am trying to configure gtk with the
following options.

./configure --without-libjpeg --without-libtiff
--enable-static=yes --enable-shared=no
--with-gdktarget=linuxfb 

configuring is going fine but failing to complete make
process any ideas. he says 

Unable to load image-loading module:
../../gdk-pixbuf/libpixbufloader-png.so:

but iam trying to have all static libs how come he is
searching for    libpixbufloader-png.so.
