libglade pixmaps

Hi,

I contructed a gtk2 GUI with glade and load the widgets with libglade.
All works great, but the images I use in the GUI are searched only in
/appdir/, but my images are located in /appdir/pixmaps/. Does somebody
knows a way to let libglade search in another dir for pixmaps? I use a
default glade generated autoconf/automake project.

Sorry for this little off-toppic question, but I asked it also on
glade-users list without results. Perhaps someone could answer this
question.
