is GdkPixmap depricated ?

hi all,i am using Gdkpixmap for a scrible like
example. in glade2,pixmap is not atall present.does it
depricated.if yes GdkImage is the replacement. i am
not getting any GdkDrawable of the GdkImage.any ideas
?
