Mmmm,
    Sorry I misread you. AFAIK pango markup (thus pango features) isn't
accessable through current theme engines (would be really nice-to-have
though IMO).

Now I'm really not a "font" specialist as I know that field it quite
vast, but if I'm not mistaken, pango will allow you to set a specific
"size" which can be something like "large" or "xx-large" of whatever,
mixed with "face" which is the face name, won't you have the same
problem ?

i.e. pango's "face" may vary from one system to another,
and thus will "face" + "size" ?

Then again, I may be way off track with this...
